King’s Lynn Town Guides
Accessibility Information
Most of our Guided Walks last approximately two hours in time at a strolling pace and cover less than 1 mile in distance.
King’s Lynn has no hills, but due to its heritage and history, does have some cobbled and uneven narrow pavements and alleyways.
Our streets and pathways are accessible by wheelchair, mobility scooters and walking frame users and mainly step free, however there are, on the odd occasion a step to negotiate to get into places. These will be pointed out by your guide and every effort will be made to accommodate those less able. Wherever possible the guide will try to be inclusive. However, there may be some places where full access may not be possible
You may be standing still for about one and a half hours during your two hour tour looking at our history.
We openly welcome the visually impaired and the neuro diverse and their guiders/carers
The following walks are unsuitable for the less able bodied with mobility issues:
The River Walk
Town Walls in The Civil War
If you are in doubt or have any questions as to whether any of our walks are suitable for you please contact us:
